Instructions
- Pat chicken breasts dry with a paper towel.
- Rub with olive oil, season with salt, pepper, and spices.
- Place sliced onions at the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Add seasoned chicken breasts on top.
- Pour in chicken broth and lemon juice (if using).
- Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
- Check that internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving or shredding.
