Description

This creamy pasta dish features tender shrimp, a rich garlic-Parmesan Alfredo sauce, and fettuccine noodles; all made with simple ingredients but packed with flavor.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 8 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve ½ cup of pasta water.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook shrimp with salt and paprika until pink (2–3 min per side). Set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté garlic for 1 minute.
  4. Add heavy cream and simmer for 2–3 minutes. Gradually stir in Parmesan until smooth.
  5. Season with salt and pepper. Add cooked pasta and toss. Return shrimp to the pan.
  6. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.

  • Use coconut milk and vegan Parmesan for a dairy-free version.
  • Try gluten-free pasta or zucchini noodles for low-carb options.
